(More customer reviews)This is the first expensive driver I ever bought and believe me I picked the right one.I found it at the Bass Pro Shop (they have a golf dept inside) on sale for $229.99.That's $70. cheap than anywhere else I've been.I bought it without even trying it out, which could have been a mistake.The next day I went to the driving range and tried it out.I had to hit off regular size tees because I left the large size tees I bought at home.I was a little disappointed until I found a large tee on the ground next to were I was hitting.From then on all my drives were long and straight..mostly around 230-275 yards.For me that is l-o-n-n-g...

The Launcher's penetrating ball flight has a traditional look to fit the player's eye as well as to enhance carry distance. Boasting a low spin head design, a mid-trajectory, and high MOI, the Launcher Driver offers a long straight shot even on mis-hits with a 21 percent larger face than the original Launcher 460 or Launcher Comp. The longer, lighter Fujikura Fit-On Flightspeed shafts also lead to higher swing speeds and additional yardage for the most powerful Launcher Driver to date.
Ideal Tone:
In the Launcher Driver, the Cleveland engineers specifically targeted the optimal tone at impact to produce an ideal sound. While the Launcher is solid and forceful, it creates a more traditional, ear-pleasing pitch that is not overpowering.
Fujikura Fit-On Flightspeed Shaft:
Fujikura designers utilized a multi-layered combination of high modulus carbon fiber materials to remove weight from the tip of the shaft without reducing stiffness. The result is a lightweight shaft with a high-balance point that increases both swing speed and ball speed for added distance.
Thin Crown Technology:

(More customer reviews)I purchased the regular shaft with the 9.5 degree loft.

Pros: Very forgiving, gained at least 15 yards from my previous club and plenty of club face.

Cons: This is the loudest club I've ever owned.When you hit the ball it produces this high pitched clank that had everyone at the range turn heads.Club head size forced me to completely rework my swing to get the club around in time to strike the ball flush.

Other thoughts: May just be me, but I ended up having to go to a 4" tee with this club just to get under the ball.Everything said and done, if you can find it for the right price, I'd recommend.
