(More customer reviews)I received the SureShot Golf GPS device 1 week ago.The set-up process on Tee2Green Technologies SureShot GPS website went easily and within a few minutes I had registered, updated the software on both the PC and the device, and downloaded the courses I play most.Following the directions, I charged the device before using it the first time.To calibrate the battery charge indicator, I left it on until the battery indicator reached 1% -- this took almost 11 hours. When I first turned it on, it took only a few minutes (once I walked outside) to locate me.I took it to the course and attached it to my bag with the attached belt clip.It is very easy to use; the controls are fairly intuitive and once you get the sequence, it works flawlessly. The readings were compared with my golf companions' SkyCaddies and the course markings -- it was dead on accurate. The scoring feature is also very easy to use and provides detailed statistics on your round.I am very happy with this device and strongly recommend it over SkyCaddie -- it is lighter, you get free course downloads for the first year, it has many scoring features, a clock, and a nice color screen.Best value for the money I've found.

Product Description:
"How far to the green?" is not only the most common question on the course, but arguably the most important as well. If you don't have an accurate feel for which club to use, it's tough to keep your scores low. Enter the handheld Sureshot GPS golf system, which displays the distance to both the green and nearby hazards on two easy-to-read screens. The first screen, known as the green screen, shows the distance from your ball to the front, center, and rear of the green. The second hazard screen, meanwhile, displays up to 15 hazards per hole, with a colored icon representing each hazard. Wondering whether you can carry the pond? Check the Sureshot. Trying to figure out if the sand trap is located 20 yards short of the pin or at the same distance? Take a look at the hazard info. Plus, the Sureshot helps you maintain your momentum while you play, as you'll no longer have to search for distance markers in the fairway.
The Sureshot GPS provides the distance to up to 15 hazards per hole.
The unit attaches to your belt, buggy, or golf cart. The Sureshot offers a couple of different course options: First, you can download prerecorded courses from Sureshot's website, with all the pins and hazards already measured. As an alternative, you can map your own course as you play, with the ability to record up to 10 different courses on the Sureshot's built-in memory. Wherever in the world you golf, the Sureshot GPS will give you more confidence, speed up your play, and deliver more statistical information per round, including data on your pace of play, elapsed playing time, fairways hit, greens in regulation, and putts.
The Sureshot GPS--which lets you record up to 33 reference points for each hole--comes with a copy of Sureanalysis software for Windows, which further analyzes your play and keeps statistics for specific or multiple games. It also attaches to your belt, golf cart, or buggy for easy access.
